Hey, i climbed a mountain on saturday, up and down. it was incredible, and called La Campana. We got lost on the way down and bushwhacked through the Chilean wilderness for about 45 minutes. We climbed through fields of boulders. Charles Darwin first climbed the peak in ...ok they don`t say the year. But i touched somewhere that charles darwin touched, which is pretty cool. It is 1828 meters high. ¡¡¡Conquistè la cumbra, pero la montaña me conquistò!!! o por lo menos, conquistò mis muslos y rodillas, ¡y mi trasero grueso!
Then we found a bus back, after kristof got sick and threw up because he`s GERMAN and he only drinks CARBONATED WATER, while climbing a fucking MOUNTAIN. I mean how weird is it to hike your ass up a huge rock, stop for a breather and chug AGUA CON GAS? pretty frucking strange.
So we got back to valpo, and went out for chinese food.
Easter was crazy also, half of my gigantic-ass family came over for once for Nicole, who is leaving. Pedro, my 6 year old cousin, was busting a move on the salsa floor. saw my siblings in a new light, one crazier and the other more TLC for the little guys. There was chocolate caliente, y queque, y pan fresco, y liquor de pera....wow. una noche inolvidable.
