tonight was one of the loveliest nights i can remember. i know it's so cheesy because everyone writes about stuff being like their lives waking up from a long winter's sleep, but i really DO feel like that's what's going on with me. i'm waking up and "ready to bloom" . gag me with a spoon!
anyway, went to contra dance tonight with j-erb. was in a funkay mood when we left and returned all buzzing from so much whirling around. walked out into the blue night, ring around the moon, in the night garden and the damp grass, enjoying the couples' murmur and breeze and coolness of the ground and the peace and contentment. and from so far away, the dancing in the barn seems to blaze with such colors, such rhythm and breathing and motion all flaming through the tiny square of door like another little world inside a box, orange light and scene on fire.
to leave the cool blue peace and enter into the hot primary flashroom dance sweeping grabbing swinging sliding floating bouncing dance!
