i can't get any real work done. Are we surprised?

Five years ago: (Sept 2000)
1. I thought it was okay to wear togas as everyday clothing
2. I put up with a lot more BS than i do now
3. I was more and less hardcore, in different ways
4. I almost got arrested for transporting a minor across state lines to a protest
5. i was vegan

One year ago: (Sept 2004)
1. i was scared out of my mind at my new job
2. that new job was teaching elementary ESL
3. i saw Concrete Blonde live for the first time
4. i turned 23
5. i went to NYC for the first time and rode my bike across the brooklyn bridge to celebrate my birthday

Yesterday:
1. i was slightly hung over
2. my mom said "crack whore" really loud in a quiet, fancy restaurant
3. i called and was called a bitch, all in a loving way
4. i saw randy newman play the piano
5. i let a 60 year old lady wear my blingin' 1-pound sparkly blue jewel ring

Today:
1. i got covered in spider dust and mouse poo while crawling around my garage
2. completed massive cd organizing project
3. ate lemon meringue pie
4. i learned that the origin of picnic is the Latin "picus nicus"
5. wished a happy chilean independence day to an old friend

Tomorrow:
1. i will get observed by my mentor
2. i will throw up from nervousness prior to #1
3. i will get some stupid song stuck in my head before, during, and after the observation
4. i will practice my guitar, dammit
5. i jammed out to "you can leave your hat on"
